Terms & Conditions

Welcome! These Terms & Conditions help make sure we’re all on the same page. By booking or receiving services from James' Handyman Services LLC, you agree to the following:

🛠️ Services

We provide general handyman, repair, maintenance, and improvement services. All work is limited to the scope agreed upon in your estimate, invoice, or service description.

💲 Estimates & Pricing

Estimates are based on the information available at the time.
Prices may change if the scope of work changes or additional services are requested.
Materials are not included unless clearly stated.

💳 Payments

Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept: Cash, Check, Zelle, Apple Pay, Debt/Credit Card (3% fee)
Late payments may be subject to a late fee were allowed by law.

📅 Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please provide at least [24/48] hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.

🏠 Customer Responsibilities

To help us work efficiently and safely, customers agree to:

Provide clear access to the work area
Ensure utilities are available if needed
Secure pets and remove personal items from the work area

🧰 Materials

Any materials purchased on your behalf remain our property until paid in full.
We are not responsible for delays caused by material availability or supplier issues.

✅ Workmanship & Limitations

We perform all work in a professional and workmanlike manner.
We are not responsible for pre-existing issues, hidden damage, or code violations that were not visible or disclosed before work began.
Minor cosmetic variations are normal and not considered defects.

🔧 Warranty

Labor is warranted for 12 Months after completion.
This warranty does not cover misuse, normal wear and tear, or customer-supplied materials.
Manufacturer warranties apply to products and materials.

⚠️ Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, James' Handyman Services LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the service performed.

🛑 Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe, illegal, or outside the agreed scope.

⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
